The Chauffers Cottage and Studio offers outstanding self catering accommodation near Arbroath, based on Kinblethmont estate. We are ideal for an idyllic getaway in a beautiful part of Angus.

Our fabulous barn conversion offers stunning views into Kinblethmont woodlands, great for a magical holiday. Chauffeur’s cottage and Studio are joined via an internal door, providing a 5 bedroomed house which sleeps 10 people. The house is perfect for a group or family who wanted somewhere scenic to stay whilst being close to the beaches and a range of attractions.

On the ground floor there is a vestibule with a store cupboard and WC. On the Chauffeur’s side, there is a spacious kitchen/dining area with an array of appliances: dishwasher and washer/dryer and a large table seating 10. You can unwind and socialise in the large sitting room which has a gorgeous wood-burning stove, comfy sofas and a TV. The Studio side has an additional kitchen and modern seating area with a TV, DVD player, plus lovely views over Kinblethmont Gardens.

Upstairs on Chauffeur’s side, there are 3 bedrooms: a king en suite, a twin room with a private bathroom next door and a further twin room with a private bathroom. The two twin rooms can be made into king rooms. The studio side has two further bedrooms: a double en suite and a twin room en suite room which can be made into a king.

Outside there are terraces with seating and BBQ for al fresco dining and grassed areas. You can also wander around the paths on Kinblethmont estate, including one that takes you to the sheltered walled garden which has a children’s play area, outdoor table tennis and lots of outdoor games.

Arbroath is only 5 miles away and home to a picturesque harbour with a marina, plenty of fish and chip shops and a charming independent cinema. The area has a range of amazing beaches and coastal walks, including the ones at Montrose, St Cyrus and Broughty. You can also visit the magnificent ruins of Dunnottar Castle. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
