Shegarton Farm Cottages are a pair of self catering holiday homes, set in a wonderful part of Argyll overlooking Loch Lomond. Within a 5 minute drive of the cottages you can reach the village of Luss, where you will find places to eat, a local church and the Pilgrimage Centre. The village also has lovely walks for those wishing to explore this lovely area.

Fruin Cottage – This is a cosy holiday home and is ideal for a couple of friends. There are twin beds that can be put together to make a double bed if required. The holiday cottage was once part of the farm steading and it has been tastefully converted to provide well-appointed accommodation for those who want to explore this beautiful part of Scotland.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, iron, kettle and toaster. Unwind in the elegant lounge which has Freeview TV, a radio and DVD player. There is a large garden with chairs and tables for a relaxing meal in the open air overlooking the surrounding countryside.

Finlas Cottage – Sleeps up to 4 people and is suitable for a family or a couple. This holiday home was once one of the courtyard barns of the original farm steading, however it has been converted to provide an open plan holiday home with everything you need for a holiday or short break. The bedrooms have twin beds in each room and the bathroom has a shower and a bath. The kitchen is well-equipped with the same facilities as Fruin cottage and the lounge also has the same entertainment facilities.

There is a large garden with chairs and tables for a relaxing meal in the open air overlooking the surrounding countryside. There are good walks nearby. Children of all ages welcome, we do not supply high chairs or cots but you are welcome to bring these items with you.

The Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park has lots to offer visitors with a huge range of outdoor activities. Balloch which is a short drive from Shegarton Farm has a Sealife Centre and a super shopping centre called Lomond Shores which boasts having a branch of Jenners, and is a great place to spend the day if the weather is not too good. Boats can be hired in Balloch or perhaps take a boat trip on the Loch. Shegarton is an ideal base to explore Central Scotland, Stirling, Glasgow, Oban and the West Highlands and Edinburgh. Balloch has a train service which takes you to the centre of Glasgow in 45 minutes.

Finlas Cottage: £155 Friday – Saturday, £132 - Sunday to Thursday
