My parents opened the B&B at Morfa Isaf 50 years ago and to this day, we still have some people who continue to visit year after year.

Morfa Isaf Farm guesthouse enjoys stunning sea views and is an ideal base for those who want to explore Ceredigion. As well as a farm guesthouse, we also have 2 self catering cottages and our very unique Sonia the Boat - A decommissioned cabin cruiser being refurbished to offer a cosy and romantic place to stay (this must be booked with either one of the cottages or alongside the guesthouse as there are no facilities). Morfa Isaf offers a truly unforgettable holiday experience with a touch of magic, making it so very special.

Perched above its own secret cove and situated astride the Wales Ceredigion Coast Path near Llangranog, Morfa Isaf offers both an idyllic retreat in a truly beautiful, tranquil setting as well as a relaxing base for walkers and explorers alike.

Our farmhouse has been offering a warm welcome to travellers since 1970 and is a cosy retreat that is perfect for walkers and those who are looking for a warm and friendly place to stay. The farmhouse was built in 1763 and it has been thoughtfully decorated and furnished to help retain its charming, historic ambience. There is a log burner in the lounge. Our most recent acquisition is a large, beautifully carved table made lovingly from a piece of 200 year old sycamore originally sourced for making violins.

The sitting room has a grand piano which is regularly played and is also there for guests to enjoy.

The water is spring water from our own well which we are happy to confirm is monitored by the local Authority on an annual basis and complies with all the requirements of the current private water supply regulations.

How the B&B evolved into a retreat: I took over their business in 2009 and over the next few years went on to add a gypsy caravan, Sonia, the boat on dry land (in its own paddock) and a yurt. I also converted 2 barns into holiday lets.

I have always loved Morfa Isaf and I have certainly always loved people too but working long hours as I built up my new business I knew something was missing in my life. When the Covid-19 virus came along and the lockdown, little did I realise what an invaluable opportunity it would offer me to think about what I really wanted to create for my own future AND any future guests.

My "real job" for many years had been as a professional musician and entertainer playing the piano and singing in hotels and on cruise ships around the world. I came home in 2001 with a view to helping my mother in her B&B. A few years later I began to study metaphysics. With my new qualification, Metaphysical Practitioner (which I absolutely love it would have to be said), I went on to achieve my counselling qualifications and have now added hypnotherapy.

As far as the B&B is concerned, for a long time, I have been considering running retreats from here, not for groups but something much more intimate and tailor made for one or maybe 2 people. And here I am in the perfect location. What a coincidence! My therapy room (a log cabin) is here on the farm in a beautiful garden looking out onto Cardigan Bay.

The word retreat means different things to different people. Whatever your own idea of a retreat is, be it simple peace, off loading or sharing some troubles, a bit of both, just walking, some walking and talking, you can be assured that only one person knows what’s best for you...and that’s you!

Our peaceful location surrounded by beautiful countryside and fabulous walks all lend themselves to a wonderful place where you can chill out and recharge your batteries.
