Garreg Lwyd Cottage is a cosy, Grade II listed artisan cottage located in Conwy Town, Conwy. The cottage is the ideal base from which to explore the medieval town of Conwy, a UNESCO World Heritage site, with its majestic walls and castle, nearby Snowdonia National Park, beautiful beaches and other attractions.
The cottage is fully equipped and suitable for two couples or a small family and offers guests free Wi-Fi internet access. The cottage is a modernised, fully equipped self catering holiday cottage. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom suitable for two couples or a small family. The price includes booking deposit, bed linen, towels, tablecloth, tea towels, electricity, gas central heating etc.
The fully equipped, no smoking, no pets, cottage comprises:
Sitting/Dining Room; Free-Sat TV/Radio, CD-DVD, three-seat leather settee and two easy chairs, dining table and four chairs, coffee table, Wi-Fi access, multi-fuel stove in the inglenook fireplace, and electric fire etc.
Kitchen; electric four plate hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer, dining and cooking crockery, cutlery, utensils etc etc.
Utility Porch; storage of boots, raincoats, logs, clothes line, etc.
Walled Courtyard; table and four chairs, mini BBQ, parasol, reclining chair, plants, creepers, utility sink, lighting etc
Double Bedroom; at rear, with comfortable 4’6” bed.
Twin Bedroom; at front, with two 3’ beds.
Dressing Room; wardrobes, drawers, small dressing table, mirror, hairdryer, iron and board, spare duvets and pillows etc.
Bathroom; on-demand shower over bath, sink, WC, heated towel rail, fan heater, shaving point and light over mirror.
Heating; gas central heating, multi-fuel stove in Sitting Room, rear windows double glazed, front Georgian style.
Parking at the front door reserved by a parking cone.
The Grade II listed holiday cottage is situated in the heart of old Conwy town, overlooking the famous Plas Mawr Elizabethan Town house, in a quiet cul-de-sac of about a dozen similar houses and bounded by the ancient town walls. The slate roofed, stone-built terraced cottage was built about 1825 has walls nearly two feet thick and has a cosy olde worlde atmosphere in keeping with the area. It is furnished in cottage style but modernised for comfort and features a stone inglenook fireplace with a multi-fuel stove. The private, sunny, stone walled rear courtyard garden is ideal for a BBQ, outdoor dining or just relaxing.
