The Chapel Guest House

St Austell, Cornwall

Details

The Chapel Guest House in St Austell, Cornwall, offers superb guest house accommodation in a former Methodist Chapel. The beautiful building has been thoughtfully converted to offer luxury accommodation.

Our charming property still retains many of the original features of the chapel, including large arched granite windows with coloured glass to the front, and glimpses of trusses and keystones throughout. We offer a range of rooms to choose from: twins, doubles and two king rooms. Our luxury king room has a wow factor and was originally where the organ was housed. It has original features of the chapel and boasts double aspect arched windows.

All the rooms offer an array of excellent facilities: flat screen TV, hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. All the rooms include en suite facilities and we can provide a cot and highchair.

Our guest house offers an extensive breakfast menu to suit all tastes. We cater for vegetarians and special dietary requirements such as gluten and dairy free diets.

The Chapel is nestled in a wooded valley in the hamlet of Carthew, just north of St Austell. Many attractions are close by such the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan. A wide choice of beaches are all within a short hop away. There are many local villages all worth a visit, including Mevagissey, Fowey and Charlestown. The Sawles Arms is a small local Pub only 5 minutes’ walk from the Chapel where you will be given a warm Cornish welcome.
