Penhale Caravan & Camping Park, Fowey, Cornwall

Penhale Caravan & Camping Park at Fowey in Cornwall overlooks the beautiful St Austell Bay. Our campsite is in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is the nearest caravan and camping park to Fowey, on the Fowey side of the river, just 1 ½ miles west from the centre of the town. Penhale is a great place to stay for camping and caravanning accommodation near the Eden project as it is only 3.5 miles away.

This small, family-run campsite offers you relaxation in pleasant surroundings. There is no overcrowding and there is no noisy club or bar.
Penhale has a small shop providing basic essentials as well as a gas cylinder exchange facility - Calor Gas and Camping Gaz. A small games room has a pool table and table tennis.

Camping in Cornwall at Penhale brings many advantages as it is close to many lovely sandy beaches and great walks both coastal and inland. It is a great place for camping near the Eden Project. The nearest beach, Polkerris, is only a half hour walk away.

Touring & Camping : There are 17 electric hook-up points against hedges, each in a 30' x 30' pitch and a further 9 electric hook-up points within the centre of the field. The shower block has hand washbasins, toilets and showers. All the hot water is free including the showers. Hairdryers are provided in both the mens and ladies. A separate room has sinks with free hot water for washing dishes. The small laundry has a washing machine, tumble dryer and sinks with free hot water for hand washing. There is a chemical disposal point in a separate enclosure.

Holiday Homes : All holiday homes are fully serviced and self-contained. Each has mains electricity, mains water, toilet, shower, gas cooker and fire, refrigerator and colour television. Type G’s have electric heaters. Prices include gas and electricity. Each bed is provided with a duvet and cover. You will need to bring with you sheets and pillow cases and towels. Sheets and pillow cases can be hired.
