Kelynack B&B, Penzance, Cornwall

Kelynack is small and secluded, nestling alongside a stream, just a mile from the coast in the beautiful Cot Valley, in Far West Cornwall.

We are a small family run site and we always aim to offer a friendly Cornish welcome to all.

Children enjoy playing in our playarea and exploring our woodland area. They can also play table tennis in our undercover area.

We have some friendly animals including our donkeys: Carmen, Scrumpi, Ned, Bracken and our Shetland pony Pedro. Last year Carmen had a foal, who we named Merlin. The name was chosen by a little boy staying on the site, who thought the new addition was ”magic”.

We have two luxury double bedrooms, each finished to a high quality at the end of 2007. Both bedrooms enjoy beautiful views of either the sunset or sunrise.

Each room has deluxe en-suite facilities with shower, toilet and wash basin. Soft fluffy towels and toiletries are provided.

The bedrooms are light and airy with ample storage, and have tea and coffee making facilities, television, central heating and a hairdryer.

Breakfasts are served between 8:00am − 10:00am but alternate times can be arranged by prior agreement. We use local produce and homemade jams and maramalades, and vegetarian and low fat options can also be arranged.

Sennen Room:
Beautifully decorated in shades of green, this room enjoys views of the sunrise. A comfortable double bed awaits you after a day of sightseeing or relaxing by the sea.

Gwenver Room:
This room faces the sunset, and is decorated to a high standard in cream with accessories in dark red. The room has a double bed with comfortable mattress, to relax and enjoy a good night’s sleep.

Kelynack is an ideal base to explore many beautiful parts of West Cornwall. We are just 5 mins drive to Sennen beach which has lovely golden sand. Surfing lessons are available from here.

At the end of our road there is a bus stop where you can hop on a bus to St Just or Land’s End. Or take the open top double decker bus and explore the beautiful coastal road to St.Ives.

Kelynack is a short walk from St Just where there are shops, pubs, restaurants and art galleries. Why not enjoy Diddley Dee night at The Star Inn on a Monday evening where locals and visitors enjoy tradtional Cornish/Irish music.

The legendary Minack Theatre is only 7 miles away, with performances through out the summer months. If golf is your thing then Cape Cornwall Golf Club with it’s stunning views is only 3 miles away. We have details of places to visit in our laundry, including dog friendly beaches.
