Yew Wood Cottage is a bungalow located high up in the hills in the small village of Jonesborough which borders County Down and County Armagh. The bungalow offers modern self catering accommodation for up to 6 people and it is conveniently placed for exploring Newry city and all the outdoor activities and attractions there are on offer.

The holiday cottage has open plan living space which is well equipped with Satellite TV/DVD player, Wi-Fi, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and ironing facilities.

The main bedroom is en suite and holds a bath, toilet and washbasin and the remaining two bedrooms have an en suite shower, washbasin and toilet. There is a separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The floors are heated for extra comfort.

Outside there is a large barbeque/patio area and there are stunning panoramic views of the rolling hills of South Armagh and the surrounding areas from this vantage point.

There is a selection of local events in the surrounding area including a festival in Forkhill.

The area surrounding the self catering cottage is ideal for fishing, golfing and horse riding. There are also many local places of interest including Kilnasaggart Stone, Moyry Castle, Ring of Gullion and Cloverhill Golf Club.
