Gosforth Hall Inn in Gosforth near Seascale in Cumbria, offers glorious accommodation in a beautiful part of the country. We are the perfect place to escape to from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

All our rooms and apartments offer luxurious accommodation with spectacular views over lush countryside. The Copley Suite takes up the whole of the south wing on the top floor and has one of the largest bedrooms and bathrooms in West Cumbria. The suite offers a king size four poster bed, a 32″ flat screen TV, settee and an alcove with table and chairs. The bathroom has a large circular bath with overhead shower, two sinks, a dressing table and a lounging settee.

The superior king size rooms come with en suite showers and are within the Grade II Listed building. The four rooms include original sandstone walls, beams and fireplaces which can be found in some of the bedrooms. Oak furniture, king size beds and 32” flat screen TVs add that modern touch. There is underfloor heating in both the bedroom and walk in wet rooms.

Superb accommodation is also available in the Annex. Built in 2010 at a cost of around £1 million, the Annex gives the impression of being a barn conversion rather than a new build. With its local slate roof, sandstone structure and courtyard layout it complements the 350 year old Hall. Annex A and C offers two bedroom apartments with en suite bedrooms, open plan living areas, dining area, settee, TV, sink and fridge. All the rooms in the Annex convert to twin en suites.

Our restaurant caters for all tastes. This include a selection of well respected homemade pies, fish, chicken, steak and vegetarian dishes and in addition to our main menu we offer a regularly changing specials menu. Our bar/ lounge area is perfect for reading a newspaper, having a tipple and relaxing. Our bar is well stocked and serves an extensive range of ales.
