Michaelson House Hotel offers charming accommodation in Barrow-in-Furness. We are only a short drive to the town centre and in the ideal location for exploring Cumbria.

Our hotel consists of 2 Victorian houses joined together, offering relaxing accommodation in a range of bedrooms. All our rooms are tastefully furnished and perfect for a restful night’s sleep after a day sightseeing.

You can choose from single, twin, double and 1 family room. All our rooms come with a range of facilities, TV, hospitality tray, trouser press and radio alarm clock.

In the morning, we offer a lovely breakfast to set you up for the day ahead. Our full English breakfast is served from 7.00 am but we can provide for an earlier time by prior arrangement.

We have a lounge and bar which boasts a log burning fire for those chilly days. Our function room is also available, the ideal venue for christenings, anniversaries and weddings.

Outside we have spacious landscape gardens to unwind in when the sun is shining.

Only a 15-minute walk away from us is the Barrow-in-Furness Rail Station, whilst Walney Island Airport is just over 10 minutes by car.
