Mire Garth offers fantastic self catering accommodation in Deepdale, based in a wonderful countryside setting. Our cottage near Dentdale is 500 metres from the nearest road and perfect for a relaxing holiday in Cumbria.

Our 17th Century stone-built cottage offers countryside views and includes beamed bedrooms and panelled doors. We are based within a sheep farm and there is lots of local wildlife to see.

Inside we have a lounge with a smart TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi system and open fire. This is a great spot to relax after a day roaming the countryside. The well-equipped kitchen/diner comes with a range of appliances: an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster. There is a large dining table that seats 8. A utility room houses a washing machine, iron and ironing board.

Bedrooms consist of 1 king room, 1 twin room and 2 single bedrooms (1 of which is a walk-through room to the king bedroom). All the bedrooms come with bed linen and towels. The bathroom has a WC, sink and bath suite and walk-in shower cubicle. On the ground floor, there is a WC and walk-in shower.

Outside we have a cottage-style garden including a stone patio with a table and chairs for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun. You huddle around the chimenea in the early evening.

Locally you can enjoy lots of countryside walking routes. The southern part of the Lake District can be reached within a 60-minute drive. There are lots of small towns and villages to see, home to independent shops and tearooms. Attractions to visit include:
