Beaumont House Guest House offers 5-star accommodation in Windermere. Nestled in a lovely part of the Lake District, our elegant Victorian property is only a short stroll from the centre of Bowness and Lake Windermere. Next to us is an off-site Health Club with spa & gym facilities, just a 5-minute drive, or 20-minute walk (offers a pool, spa, Roman bath, dry & wet sauna and gym etc).

At Beaumont House we are fortunate to be able to offer three ground floor rooms: one standard triple en suite (shower) room, one standard twin/double en suite (shower) room and one superior double (6’ super king sleigh bed) en suite (walk-in shower) room.

On the first floor, we have our small standard 4’6” double bedded en suite room with mahogany headboard and furniture with an en suite bathroom.

We also have five superior double en suite rooms located on the first floor: three traditional four-poster en suite bedrooms, one empire four poster en suite room and one mahogany 6’ super king sleigh bed – all in mahogany and all with matching antique-style furniture. Some rooms come with wet rooms with walk-in showers.

The superior rooms all have 32” flat-screen televisions and DVD players; iron and ironing boards, two of the rooms have whirlpool baths with showers over, two with double size shower bases and one with a single shower.

All our rooms are individually decorated with the emphasis on calming and relaxing colour schemes; and have colour televisions (most with flat-screen TVs and DVD players) radio alarm clocks, hairdryers and complimentary toiletries. Each guest room also has a hospitality tray for tea and coffee. An iron and ironing board and trouser press are available on request for those rooms not already equipped with one.

The Windermere and Bowness area is renowned for its wealth of excellent restaurants, bringing cuisine from all over the world to our doorstep. Chinese, Indian, Thai, Greek, Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican menus as well as vegetarian are all close by. Several restaurants are within easy walking distance; not forgetting the humble fish and chips and traditional English pub fayre. a

Visitors come to the Lake District because of its unique, ever-changing, landscape; the beautiful lakes, rivers, mountains, and picturesque Lakeland villages which have been the inspiration for poets, writers, and artists throughout the ages. Beaumont House is ideally situated in Windermere and we provide an excellent base from which to explore the Lake District, whether you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing break or something a little more energetic – sightseeing, walking, cycling, sailing and water sports they are all available from our doorstep.
