Lying at the base of Souther Fell and Blencathra in the tranquil and unspoilt village of Mungrisdale, The Mill Inn provides the perfect setting for your visit to Cumbria. With the Glenderamakin River flowing below and the Lakeland fells above, you are sure to appreciate the striking and pleasant location of our 17th Century Coaching Inn.

We have six bedrooms, all of which are en-suite. There are 3 double and 3 twin rooms. Children and dogs are welcome. There are Tea & Coffee making facilities in all rooms. Hair Dryer and Trouser Press are available.

Downstairs we have a lounge bar with snug, games room with pool table (in winter months) and dartboard, and a dining room where breakfast & evening meals are served. In summer you can relax in our beer garden beside the river, and in winter you can warm yourself by the open log fire.
