Manesty - Cottages and Glamping is the ideal base for your Lake District self-catering holiday. We are situated just a short drive from Keswick in the lovely valley of Borrowdale.

Our 5 cottages range from 1 to 4 bedrooms in size and are converted from the original farmstead buildings. They are comfortably furnished and well equipped. Facilities include smart TVs, Blu-ray players, free wireless broadband internet and an outdoor, all natural, wood fired hot tub which can be booked by the day for a small additional cost. Two of the cottages have a wood burner or a fire.

In addition to the cottage accommodation we have a studio apartment for short breaks all year round, a retro style caravan and a cosy shepherd’s hut with baby wood burner and its own luxury shower room for the close to nature experience.

Situated in the beautiful valley of Borrowdale just five miles from the bustling town of Keswick, Manesty Cottages and Glamping is in the heart of the Lake District. The elevated situation gives magnificent views across Borrowdale and the extensive well-kept grounds include lawns, terraces and a small wildlife wood. Less than a mile from the shores of Derwentwater and ideally placed for walking fells, woodlands and valley without having to use the car, Manesty is one of the most peaceful corners of Borrowdale. The picturesque village of Grange is ¾ mile away with its two cafes. Manesty has been in the Leyland family for six generations so we are a mine of local knowledge.
