The Barn at Mead Farm offers self catering holiday accommodation in 2 separate cottages that are situated just a 10 minute walk from the village of Hope in Derbyshire. The holiday cottages are in the heart of the Peak District National Park which offers wonderful walks and they are also close to local shops and amenities.

‘The Acorn’ is the smaller of the two cottages and has one bedroom that sleeps up to two people in a galleried double room that has a king size bed and an en suite shower room.

‘The Oaks’ is the larger of the two cottages and has three bedrooms, one double, one twin and a single bedroom that is located on the ground floor. All bedrooms in The Oaks can boast their own en suite shower or bathrooms making this a great choice for extended families or friends to share time together on holiday whilst retaining their own private space.

Both cottages have fully fitted kitchens with all the appliances that you need to make this truly a ‘home from home’, including a dishwasher, fridge freezer, cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster and all the crockery, pans and utensils that you are likely require for your stay. The open plan living/dining rooms both have a flat screen TV/DVD, radio, CD player and plenty of board games to choose from.

Free Wi-Fi is available throughout both holiday cottages.

All bed linen, fluffy towels and toiletries are provided for your comfort.

Outside, there is a shared patio area which is an ideal place to enjoy a BBQ in the summer months and a large grassed area is also available for guests to use. There is a separate laundry room available and secure lockable storage for bikes and other outdoor equipment.

Welcome packs comprising tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, jam and cake for afternoon tea will be waiting for guests upon arrival.
