Beech Croft Farm is a family run caravan park and camping site located in the village of Blackwell near Buxton in Derbyshire. Surrounded by the Peak District landscape, you can rest in the peaceful countryside or make the most of your holiday experience walking or cycling in the heart of the Peak District National Park!

Beech Croft Farm is located at Blackwell in the Peak, a small hamlet with just 10 houses and a few small farms. Nearby Taddington is a larger village with a church and two pubs. The Queens Arms is in the centre of the village, whilst the Church Inn, at Chelmorton is just a 30 minute walk away on The Pennine Bridleway. This campsite is closely situated to Monsal Trail.

Our scenic park offers hardstandings for caravans, motorhomes, campervans and trailer tents all year round. All of our hard standings have 16amp electric hook up, a water tap and a TV aerial socket point. Awnings are no extra charge and please note we do not allocate or reserve particular pitches.

We accept tents, trailer tents and camper vans in our camping fields. The fields are not spirit level flat and we do not allocate or reserve any pitches. The hook up for tents is 10amp.

After a day roaming the local countryside, pop into Daisies Coffee Shop for a tasty treat or two. We offer breakfasts, lunches, coffees and cakes. Outside we have a couple of tables and seats, perfect for relaxing with a coffee whilst the sun is shining.

Onsite facilities include:

30 level hard standing pitches with 16amp electric, water and TV aerial socket point (Rock Pegs are required for awnings).

Three camping fields with all having access to 10amp electric.

Heated toilet and shower block split in to ladies, gents and unisex with free hot water throughout.

Electric Shaver point in the gents.

Hair dryer plug sockets in the ladies.

Unisex facilities with larger showers, wash cubicles and a toilet.

Pot washing and laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and iron available.

Full disabled facilities accessible by a radar key.

Campers Cabin, a dry shelter housing a hot drinks vending machine and microwave.

Chemical toilet and grey water disposals.

Motor home drive over grey waste disposal point.

Free WIFI (We are rural so is not always very fast).

Dog Exercise Area.

Boot, Bike and Dog Wash (Cold water tap).

Play area for under 6s and one for older, including ball game area (children to be accompanied by an adult).

Small shop at reception selling basic provisions, local walks and Calor Gas and Camping Gaz.

The Spa Town of Buxton has beautiful Victorian and Edwardian buildings, a fine park, indoor shopping centre and a range of antiques and collectors fairs. Bakewell is, of course, home of the Bakewell Pudding and well worth exploring. Castleton takes its name from Peveril Castle, which dominates the village. There are a number of Caves to visit and the village is famous for its unique blue stone.
