Hall Farm Cottages offers charming self catering holiday accommodation in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Our holiday cottages are situated on 2 acres of paddocked land on Hall Farm in the village of Wetton, set in a gorgeous countryside setting. Our cottages are near Ashbourne in a great location for exploring Derbyshire.

Our 3 delightful stone-built holiday cottages are surrounded by peaceful open countryside with magnificent views of the Manifold Valley and Thors cave. All the cottages are well-equipped and sleep between 3-5 people.

Thor’s:

Our wonderful cottage, part of a former cowshed/hay loft, is great for a country escape. Inside there is a relaxing open plan living area with a smart TV including Netflix, an Alex Echo, an electric fire and comfy seating. A well-equipped kitchen has a fridge/freezer, electric cooker with hob, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and all basic kitchen essentials.

Upstairs there is a double and a triple room. Both rooms boast stunning views over the Manifold Valley. The bedrooms share a bathroom. Outside there is a seating area, great for a coffee whilst savouring the views.

Manifold Cottage:

This cosy cottage is great for a relaxing rural getaway. Inside there is a relaxing open plan living area with a smart TV including Netflix, an Alex Echo, electric fire and comfy seating. A well-equipped kitchen has a fridge/freezer, electric cooker with hob, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and all basic kitchen essentials.

Upstairs there is a double and a bunk room. Both rooms enjoy glorious views over the Manifold Valley. The bedrooms share a bathroom. Outside there is a seating area, offering a great spot for a glass of wine in the afternoon sun.

Dovedale:

Our fabulous cottage has been tastefully converted from a cow shed. A light-filled open plan living space has a smart TV including Netflix, an Alex Echo, electric fire and comfy seating. A well-equipped kitchen has a fridge/freezer, electric cooker with hob, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster and all basic kitchen essentials.

Bedrooms consist of a large double with a four-poster bed and a small single room. Both rooms share a bathroom. Outside there is a sheltered gravel area with a table and chairs for al fresco dining.

All guests have access to our play barn, paddock and two outdoor playing areas.

Hall Farm Wetton is ideally situated for visitors to take advantage of all the main attractions of the Peak District National Park. The holiday cottages are close to some of the best scenery in England, with the Manifold Valley, Dovedale and Wolfscote Dale within walking distance. These are some of the most spectacular limestone dales of the Peak District and offer excellent walking, fishing and bird watching. Within easy reach are the towns of Buxton with its opera house and annual Festival, Bakewell with a weekly livestock market, Matlock which has a range of visitor attractions, including a theme park and Ashbourne which has an outdoor market twice weekly.
