Cliff & Debbie Phillips look forward to welcoming you to The Baildon Royd Guest House, be it for a night, or a week away with your loved ones. Where comfortable and cosy accommodation along with excellent home-made fayre, will assure that your stay will be the first of many.

Cockington: Family room. First floor with front aspect along with “Sea Peeps”. A Double Bed and a single would be ideal for a family of three, or can be let as a double outside school holidays. En-suite shower room. Sun most of the day.

Totnes: Double room. First floor, this bright room has neutral decor along with a double bed. Along with 2 large windows, allows in the late afternoon sun. Also the en-suite shower has a larger than normal shower enclosure.

Torquay: Family room. First floor large family room with double bed and two bunk beds( in separate area) would suit two adults and two children. En-suite shower room. This room takes in the evening sun.

Brixham: Double room. First floor quiet superior single room with wash hand basin and own separate private bathroom for which we provide bath robe and slippers. This room gets the evening sun.

Dartmouth: Double room. Second floor double front aspect room has “Sea Peeps” to Brixham. This room has a large bright bathroom with bath and shower attachment. This is a sunny room all day.

Widdicombe: Family room or 2 doubles. This double room comes with “Sea Peeps” across the roof tops to Torquay. There is 1 double bed and in the separate room 2 singles which are zip & link beds. There is en-suite shower room.

We offer a full English breakfast and vegetarian options. We also aim to cater for most special diets provided enough notice is given. We can also provide packed lunches and are happy to fill flasks.

We are situated in a quiet cul-de-sac with ample off road parking for all of our guests just 250 yards from the Blue Flag Beach of Preston Sands and Paignton Beach. Also we are just 10 minutes from the main shopping area with a wide range of eating places as well as the Paignton & Dartmouth Steam Railway (see our things to do in and around the area).

There is plenty to do for all age groups from the young to the not so young. Being centrally located within Torbay, we are ideally located for the towns of Brixham, Dartmouth, Totnes and Torquay. There are vast amounts of attractions within the English Riviera for all age groups. The Baildon Royd is fully non-smoking. We also have a fully licensed bar available for our residents.

Children are welcome over the age of 3.
