The Stable offers lovely self catering accommodation in Hailsham, based in the grounds of Longleys Farm Cottage. Located near Eastbourne in a peaceful setting, we are in a brilliant location for exploring East Sussex.

Our tastefully converted property boasts beams and is well-equipped to suit all your needs. The house sleeps up to 2 people, great for a romantic getaway.

Inside there is a fully equipped kitchen with a range of appliances: an electric cooker, microwave oven, fridge with freezing compartment, washing machine, iron and ironing board. Unwind in the cosy living area that has comfy seating and a pine table and chairs.

A bedroom comes with a king-size bed for a restful night’s sleep. The room can be divided into two small singles on request. All linen and towels are provided. The bathroom has a walk-in shower.

Outside there is a summer house to unwind in. We also have a picnic table and BBQ for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

There are many things to do in the surrounding area including going to the South Downs and Weald where there are superb opportunities for walking. There are also some great little towns and villages that are lovely to explore. The area is home to a number of National Trust properties, castles and gardens that are all worth visiting. Excellent attractions to visit include:

Sheffield Park and Garden.

Beachy Head.
