The Eastern Slade Barn is situated on a working farm near Oxwich in Glamorgan. Our barn offers self catering/bunk house style accommodation and is an old farm building that dates back over 200 years. Our farm and our self catering accommodation is easily reached as we are only a short drive from Swansea and being located within the Gower Peninsula makes us ideal for guests who are looking to spend time in the great outdoors.

Our holiday barn can accommodate 13 persons in 4 bedrooms, one of which has disabled access. An extra 2 can be accommodated for sole occupancy (if required) on put up beds in the room. There is a fully fitted kitchen, cosy lounge area with log burner and downstairs bathrooms which makes us ideal for people with limited mobility.

The outside area has an open space for BBQ’s and a built in fire pit and there is secure storage for bikes, canoes and surfboards

Our farm also has a back to basics campsite which is the oldest registered campsite on Gower.

Walking north through the farmyard our land becomes some of the bridleways/cycle ways that is a network of traffic free lanes across Gower. Travelling south down towards Slade Bay our land becomes part of the Wales Coastal Path and is 870 miles of coastal footpath linking Monmouth in the south and Flintshire in the north.
