Gower Cottages offers delightful self catering accommodation situated in the pretty Glamorgan village of Llanmadoc, just a short drive from the bustling city of Swansea. We are situated within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with some of the best scenery the UK has to offer on our doorstep.

Heather Lodge

Our self catering holiday lodge set out in a ground floor only bungalow style with off road parking, a lovely lawned garden, offering one double bedroom, a bathroom, & open plan kitchen into lounge diner with log burner, with sliding French doors into the garden. There are rural fields and Llanmadoc Hill immediately behind the lodge (views from lounge and bedroom).

The Middle Cottage

Our holiday cottage is in a wonderful location and overlooks the village green and the Lanmadoc/Whiteford beach. Our holiday cottage has quality furniture and we provide fresh bed linen and towels in the price. There is an inglenook stone fireplace, bread oven and cosy multifuel stove burner (we provide free logs).

Downstairs is a dining room with seating for 6 and a fully equipped kitchen. A basic provisions pack will be provided with a tea towel, kitchen roll, washing up liquid etc. The family bathroom is on the ground floor and has an electric shower over the bath. The lounge has a 37’’ flat screen LED Panasonic TV with Sky movies and Sky sports, plus a Blue-Ray DVD player.

There are 2 bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 5 people - the main bedroom has a king size bed and the 2nd bedroom has a single and 4ft bed. All bed linen is provided. Gas BBQ on rear sun patio Parking is available at the rear of the cottage in drive for at least 2 cars.

Wagtails Seaside Apartment

The self catering apartment is all on the ground floor making it ideal for people with limited mobility. There is a cosy lounge, comfortable bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you may need during your stay. You will have a well-equipped kitchen with a fitted oven/grill, toaster, microwave, kettle, sink/drainer and 60/40 Siemens FF Fridge/Freezer. The cosy open plan lounge/dining area has comfy seating, a 40’’ Panasonic smart TV with Freeview play, Sky Sports and BT Sports. Facilities also include a Blu-ray player and PURE DAB radio.

On those sunnier days you can relax in the garden. A table and chairs are available and this is a wonderful and relaxing spot where you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee or a glass of wine at the end of the day. From the front door of the apartment, you can enjoy a variety of different walks. There are miles of local sandy beaches and dunes or if you prefer something more inland there are many wooded alleys and nature reserves nearby.

The accommodation is no more than 15-20 minutes drive from all the main Gower beaches and attractions such as Llanmadoc Hill (which it sits upon and overlooks) Rhossili Village, Port Eynon, Oxwich and Three Cliffs, not to mention Hillend for surfing at Llangennith and stunning coastal and clifftop walks over Llanmadoc coast or Rhossili Down. The local Inn, the Britannia Inn is a short stroll away and the village shop/post office is a 2-minute walk.
