The Old Chapel in Yorkley offers charming self catering accommodation, nestled in the gorgeous Forest of Dean. Further afield you can visit lots of excellent attractions in Gloucestershire.

Our delightful cottage is nestled up a small lane, the 3rd of only 4 properties, based in a tranquil setting. The property is mostly on the ground, suitable for people with limited mobility. Our cottage is tastefully furnished and offers a homely feel.

Inside there is a cosy living/dining area with pine-clad walls, a wood-burning stove, a gothic chandelier and a large 42" flat screen. From the living area, you can enjoy lovely views of the forest. Enjoy some home cooking in the fully-equipped kitchen that comes with a range of appliances: dishwasher, slow cooker and Bosch oven and hob and fridge freezer. A utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.

Next to the lounge is a double bedroom. A pine staircase leads to a second bedroom with high pine-clad ceilings and lots of pine balustrading which overlooks the lounge. The room may not be suitable for young children.

Outside there is a table and chairs for al fresco dining over a few glasses of wine.

Right on our doorstep is the gorgeous forest, perfect for outdoor lovers. You can also visit a range of towns and cities, including Gloucester, Chepstow Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham, Birmingham and Cardiff. Only 5 miles away is the gorgeous Wye Valley. Please note, there is a no public transport in the area. Superb attractions to visit include:
