The Old Stables consists of 2 luxuriously appointed holiday apartments that can be found in a rural location, just a short drive from Aberdovey in Gwynedd. Our holiday accommodation is in the southern part of the Snowdonia National Park and is an ideal base for those who are looking for a relaxing break away.

Our apartments are in a stunning setting, perched on a hillside overlooking the estuary. You can often see buzzards and red kites from the terraces, as well as an abundance of seabirds. Each apartment comes with a large south-facing terrace to take advantage of the view. Private parking is accessed via electrically operated main gates to the properties and each apartment has a parking space. The apartments are designed to a high specification, including underfloor heating, oak flooring and luxurious light fittings.

Apartment 3: This cosy holiday home sleeping 4 people is ideal for couples or a family break away. There is a lounge/dining area with views over the estuary, a luxurious black leather suite, chair and matching footstool and Italian design glass dining table to seat four. Doors open onto a 35 foot long hardwood terrace which has a large sun parasol, a set of all-weather wicker furniture seating up to 8 people and a gas barbeque. Bedroom 1 has super king divan bed and bedroom 2 has a king size zip and divan bed. The 2nd bedroom also has a fully tiled en suite that has a shower tower that gives multiple spray options.

Apartment 6: Sleeps 4 and is reached by slate steps down a terraced path that leads onto a large hardwood decked terrace that wraps around the whole front of the apartment. It is over 50’ long and very private. The doors open into a large lounge/kitchen/dining area. There are other doors opening onto the terrace from the dining area to allow access for meals al fresco. Bedroom 1 has a fitted wardrobe, luxurious zip and link beds and solid oak furniture. It also has wonderful views over the estuary with a private door onto the terrace. A hairdryer is provided. Bedroom 2 has a fitted mirrored wardrobe, oak drawers, and luxurious zip and link beds.

We have planted a small area with seasonal herbs and vegetables in terracotta pots. Please pick any you wish to use. You should be able to find parsley, chives, bay, mint, thyme, rosemary, and oregano, depending on their season. Please water the pots if you feel they are in need - a small watering can is provided by the pots.

Our apartments are ideally placed for exploring the area. The area is a haven for walkers, bird watchers and outdoor enthusiasts as there are plenty of things to see and do during your stay. Superb attractions to visit include:
