Glanllyn Caravan & Camping Park is a scenic campsite set in 16 acres of level parkland with mature trees and a meandering river located in Llanuwchllyn. Based near Bala on the shore of Wales's largest natural lake in Snowdonia National Park, Glanllyn offers idyllic spots to pitch a caravan, tent or motorhome.

We offer fantastic views of nearby hills and mountains, with plenty of local walks to suit all capabilities. For campers, you have a range of great options to pitch your tent, including grass, non-electrical pitches along the river and close to the lake, plus tent pitches with electric hook-up. We also offer a mixture of hard standing and grass pitches for caravans, whilst motorhomes must be pitched on our hard-standing areas.

You can enjoy a touch of luxury in Glanllyn Lodge. This wonderful lodge has been beautifully renovated and sleeps up to 5 people in one en suite double room, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom. A lavish bathroom with a whirlpool bath is also available. The kitchen is well-equipped and a relaxing lounge has Sky TV and a DVD player. Accommodation is also available in Bwthyn Glanllyn, a gorgeous 3-bedroom cottage that boasts a lakeside location.

We are in a great location for exploring the area. We have our very own private shingle beach, ideal for water sports enthusiasts. There is an easy launching area for windsurfing, sailing, kayaking, fishing and paddle boarding. Green Dragon Activities hires paddleboards/kayaks and gives lessons down on our lake foreshore during busy weekends and school holidays.

Nearby attractions include white water rafting, mountain biking, zorbing, paintballing, Go Ape ropeworks, sailing, fishing, canoeing, gorge walking, abseiling, forest walks, hill walking and the narrow gauge railway.
