Bwlchgwyn Farm offers charming self catering accommodation just outside of Fairbourne village, overlooking the beautiful Mawddach Estuary on a working sheep and cattle farm. We have a range of traditional barns available and are perfect for exploring Gwynedd.

Ty Hir

Our large barn conversion sleeps 8 people in 4 bedrooms, including 1 double, 1 twin, 1 downstairs king and 1 downstairs twin. On the first floor there is a shower room and the ground floor has a bathroom. There is a spacious lounge with a wood burner, a dining table for 8 and a well-equipped kitchen. Outside there is a large patio with garden furniture and a hot tub.

Ysugbor Uchaf

We have 2 properties that combine to sleep 12. Each property has their own entrance. The first-floor apartment has 2 doubles and 1 twin room. There is an open plan lounge and dining room. We have a shower room and a well-equipped kitchen. Outside there is a patio area with a table, chairs and BBQ.

Hen Ysgubor

Our converted hay-barn sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms: 2 doubles and 1 twin. We have a large bathroom. There is a well-equipped kitchen and a large lounge with a smart TV. Outside there is a patio with seating for al fresco dining.

Middle Barn

We offer accommodation for 4 people in this former dairy. The property has a large open area to enjoy. The kitchen is well-equipped and the seating area has a log effect electric fire and TV/DVD player. There are two bedrooms: 1 king en suite and 1 double. A separate bathroom is on the ground floor. Outside there is a patio area with garden furniture and BBQ.

Corner Barn

Our lovely barn conversion sleeps 6 people in three bedrooms: 2 double en suites and 1 twin. There is also a separate bathroom with a shower over the bath. The open plan barn has a well-equipped kitchen and a lounge area with luxurious sofas and a smart TV. Outside there is garden furniture and a hot tub.

Onsite we have an equestrian centre and offer pony trekking. Camping, glamping and caravan accommodation are also available.

We are just a short stroll to the village, home to two-mile golden sandy beaches. You can enjoy coastal walks or visit one of the nearby towns or villages. Attrition to visit in the county whilst staying with us include:
