The Riverside At Aymestrey offers guest accommodation situated in the village of Aymestrey near Leominster. Our inn is located deep in the heart of Herefordshire countryside just on the southern edge of the Mortimer Forest, yet still close to Ludlow and Hereford.

Our rooms are all individually furnished, some with 400 year old beams embedded in the walls.

Our suites are exceptionally spacious, each consisting of a lounge, bathroom and bedroom. The Hayloft suite overlooks the river and opens out directly onto the ornamental terrace gardens which in turn look out over the valley. The Stable Suite gives out onto the river bank, perfect for the less mobile and those with dogs. Croft, our Masterking suite inside the main building, enjoys countryside views. We also have comfortable bedrooms in the main budling with seating areas and a snug double.

Everything is freshly cooked onsite; including our stone-ground spelt bread, hay and meadowsweet ice creams and lavender fudge. Our dining rooms include the ‘Barn’, ‘Granary’, ‘Small Restaurant’ and ‘Lounge; with each offering its own character.

The bar and restaurant enjoy a traditional style and the bar area has two double-sided wood burning stoves for those chilly days. We offer hand-pulled real ales from Cleobury Mortimer and Stoke Lacey and cider from Tenbury Wells and Leominster.

The river and its banks are full of wildlife including, dragonflies, dippers, otters, kingfishers, brown trout and grayling all live here. Fly fishing is available for our guests on a 1½ mile beat upstream from the Inn.
