Wellrose Barn is a beautiful and secluded self catering barn located in Much Hadham, Hertfordshire. Our holiday cottage is the ideal retreat for a romantic getaway in the country and also a convenient base within easy commuting distance of London so ideal for the midweek commuters. Our holiday accommodation is a great alternative to a hotel stay, providing a more intimate and less formal atmosphere whether your stay is weekend, weekday, short term, business or pleasure!

Our well-appointed and well-equipped studio-style apartment is fully kitted out to ensure your stay is a comfortable and relaxing one. The barn offers all the modern facilities, including Wi-Fi internet access, LG Smart TV with Netflix, DVD player and radio. The kitchen is fully equipped and has two ring hob, a microwave oven and a fridge with small freezer compartment. You'll find the barn already stocked for your continental breakfast including bread, eggs, milk butter, plus lots of other treat. There is also a utility room with a washer/dryer.

Relax on our solid oak leaf-sprung king size bed with a memory mattress with towels and linen all provided and enjoy peace of mind that your car is parked safe and sound, behind our remotely controlled five bar gates.

On the lawn adjacent to the barn, you will find a garden table and chairs for the exclusive use of barn guests. Somewhere to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine in the warmer months!

We are in the ideal location for exploring the local area. Enjoy a drink or at one of the local pubs, including The Bull in Much Hadham, The Star in Standon and the gastropub and The Fox and Hounds in Hunsden. Savour a delicious meal at Cote or Pizza Express or stock up on some great local produce at Pearce’s Farm Shop. Aviation fans should head to Duxford Imperial War Museum for a fascinating day out, whilst The Forge Museum offers a fascinating glimpse into Tudor life.
