Alvie & Dalraddy Estates offer fantastic self-catering accommodations in Kincraig, located just 4 miles from Aviemore in the picturesque Scottish Highlands. Our diverse Agritourism estate in Inverness-shire stretches from the renowned River Spey, known for fishing and whisky, into the Monadhliath hills, overlooking the Cairngorm Mountain range in the Cairngorms National Park.

Accommodations include two traditional farm cottages and two apartments in Alvie House, with most boasting stunning Cairngorms views. The apartments can be combined to accommodate 18 guests, providing access to the impressive Alvie House's Grounds. All lodgings are well-furnished and equipped with various amenities. Staying in Alvie House allows you to experience the lifestyle of a laird from the past.

Easter Delfour Farmhouse

Our Victorian farm cottage sleeps up to 4 people in 1 double and 1 twin room. All bed linen is included. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. The cosy sitting room has a TV and DVD player. The well-equipped kitchen comes with an electric oven and hob, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside there is a wraparound garden with a picnic bench.

Park Cottage

This two-up two-down stalker's cottage sleeps up to 6 people in 1 double and 2 twin rooms. There is a bathroom with a bath and a separate shower room downstairs. The sitting room has an open fire, a TV, a DVD player and a Bluetooth speaker. The well-equipped kitchen has an electric hob and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside we have a secluded garden with a picnic bench.

North Wing

Our two-storey apartment sleeps 8 people in 1 double, 2 twins and 2 single rooms. There are two bathrooms with a shower over the bath. The fully-equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and breakfast area. A relaxing sitting room has an open fire, television, Wi-Fi, DVD player and Bluetooth speaker.

Top Flat

This top-floor flat sleeps up to 10 people in 5 twin bedrooms. There are two bathrooms including traditional roll top baths. The fully-equipped kitchen has an electric cooker, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A spacious lounge has an open fire, television, DVD player and Bluetooth speaker.

During your stay, you can explore numerous walking and cycling routes, particularly the Speyside Way which skirts around the estate. Throughout the year, you can observe red squirrels and red deer in their natural habitat. For a closer look, we offer winter photography sessions. The estate also offers a variety of activities such as clay pigeon shooting, horse riding, archery, fishing, estate and farm tours, zip trek, quad treks, paintballing, and survival courses.

Our estates encompass a hill farm with sheep and Shorthorn cattle, native pinewoods, heather moors, forestry enterprise including wood chip production for biofuel, a rock quarry, and a gravel quarry. During lambing or calving season, you might catch a glimpse of newborns frolicking in the fields.

History enthusiasts will find the Easter Delfour Stone Circle intriguing, a Bronze Age site known as a 'Clava Cairn,' easily accessible from the main estate road.

Centrally located, we provide easy access to attractions like the Highland Wildlife Park, Highland Folk Museum, Ruthven Barracks, Kingussie Golf Course, Kinrara Distillery, Rothiemurchus Estate, Cairngorm Mountain, and RSPB Insh Marshes-all within a half-hour drive. For further exploration, being just minutes from the A9 allows you to reach Brodie Castle, Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, and Inverness with ease.
