Oystercatchers Holiday Cottage offers self catering accommodation located in the village of Breakish on the Isle of Syke. The holiday cottage boasts uninterrupted views from the garden over Broadford Bay towards the Red Cuillins. Our holiday home is situated on the water front and we have direct access to the sea.

The main door to the holiday cottage opens up into the spacious kitchen area. The kitchen is modern and fully fitted offering everything you will need for your self catering break including an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, toaster and a coffee maker.

The kitchen also has a dining table that seats up to six people easily and can be extended to give more elbow room as well as crockery, cutlery and all the cooking utensils you may need. The utility room has a washing machine tumble dryer and access to the down stairs bathroom with a WC, wash basin, overhead shower and bath.

There is a ground floor double bedroom and easy access to the downstairs bathroom. The sitting room has windows overlooking the garden, comfortable leather sofas and armchair, a wood burning stove, a 32" inch TV with Freesat, a DVD/BluRay player and an iPod docking station.

Stairs lead up to the other bedrooms and a bathroom. The bathroom has an electric shower, WC and wash basin. The master bedroom has a large double bed and two armchairs where you can relax. The third bedroom has two new single divan beds and a comfortable sitting area with Freesat TV/DVD player as well as a large games box. A travel cot and a high chair are available.

Outside of the holiday cottage there is a garden that is fully enclosed and offers comfortable outdoor seating and barbeque facilities if needed.

There are many things to do in the local area including visiting Ashaig Beach where you can relax, sunbath, explore rock pools and build sandcastles.

Guests can visit Broadford which is only a twenty minute bicycle ride away. Here you will find shops, cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and takeaways.
