Moray Coast Cottages offers self catering accommodation located in and around the pretty Morayshire coastal town of Lossiemouth, known locally as 'the jewel of the Moray Firth' and just a short drive from Elgin. There are 4 traditional fisherman's cottages to choose from.

Seatown Cottage is a traditional fisherman’s cottage built around 1850, set in the quiet and historic Seatown area of Lossie. Accommodation comprises two bedrooms, a dining room, lounge, kitchen and a small outdoor patio area. Right at the end of the bridge to the fabulous sandy East Beach, the cottage has great views over the river, dunes and esplanade.

Next door, No. 6 Seatown is a cosy property, ideal for couples, those with young families, or those with limited mobility. (Due to their low ceilings, the upstairs rooms are only really suitable for younger children). Inside there is a beautiful king-size double bedroom, a bathroom and a cosy lounge/dining area and an open plan kitchen.

Lossiemouth is well equipped with the necessary shops, restaurants and pubs. It is ideal, not just for a beach, golfing or fishing holiday, but also for touring the Malt Whisky and castle trails, or longer day trips to places such as the Cairngorms National Park or Loch Ness. It is also a great place to catch a boat ride to go in search of the resident Moray Firth dolphins, or in winter to scan the dark skies for a glimpse of the elusive aurora or Northern Lights.

Further along the coast towards Aberdeen, Sandend is one of the smallest fishing villages, overlooking Sandend Bay - a renowned destination for surfers, although it is never as busy as the likes of Cornwall! This is a real get-away from it all destination, which feels remote - although it is well served by the small towns of Cullen and Portsoy, both not more than 3 miles away. Here you can relax and walk stretches of one of the world's outstanding coastlines (according to the National Geographic) or use it as a base for touring.
