Our delightful detached holiday cottage is an ideal holiday location set in a conservation area within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Country lanes afford close access to some of Norfolk’s finest countryside, beaches and traditional seaside attractions. There are miles of coastal paths for walkers and the Norfolk Broads are only a short drive away. Weavers Cottage is just a mile from the nearest of the many sandy beaches. It is just 2 miles from the lovely award-winning ‘blue flag’ sandy beach at Mundesley with its dramatic cliffs and golf course. It is also just 5 miles from the popular seaside town of Cromer with its famous crabs and pier.

Accommodation:

Weavers Cottage is a pretty, quaint eighteenth-century brick and flint cottage which boasts a wealth of beams and soft furnishings and is set privately next to the owner's home.

The lounge area has an open fire, a dining room and a well-equipped kitchen downstairs. There is also a shower room with shower cubicle and wash basin and separate toilet, Twisty cottage stairs to first floor lead into a twin bedded room with access to the double bedroom.

The garden is a beautiful place to relax; there is plenty of outdoor seating and there is also a gravelled and sheltered courtyard area that is a lovely place to enjoy some al fresco dining.

Sightseeing:

Weavers Cottage is in a superb location surrounded by a range of things to do. In ‘Poppyland’, within easy reach are the National Trust properties of Blickling and Felbrigg Halls and also Sheringham Park - offering wonderful walks through spectacular Rhododendrons.

Cromer has lovely beaches and famous ‘end of pier show’ and at Sheringham the North Norfolk steam railway runs though wonderful scenery to the Georgian town of Holt.

The coast road to the west leads to some lovely villages including Morston and Blakeney where boat trips are available to visit the bird sanctuary and seal colony of Blakeney Point and further on is the Queen’s holiday residence at Sandringham.

The ‘Fine City’ of Norwich with its 900 year old cathedral, Norman castle, Marketplace, and many other interesting historical sites and museums is well worth a visit. It also offers some of the county’s best shopping facilities.

In North Norfolk there are around 45 miles of coastline, with long sandy beaches, flint pebble banks and salt marshes. The rich architectural heritage of 81 conservation areas, over 2,200 listed buildings and a 100 Scheduled Ancient Monuments, is set in countryside ideal for cycling, walking, bird watching or just relaxing. The Norfolk Broads which are a series of rivers and lakes are only a short drive away.
