Created around a Victorian railway carriage, The Patch is a homely, spacious, smoke-free holiday home in its own large, private garden. Far away from street lights and traffic, it's a few minutes walk from a quiet beach on the north west Norfolk coast. It sleeps from one to eight people in four bedrooms, and is available all year.

Our home is well equipped throughout and offers guests a home away from home. An unusual feature is the Victorian railway carriage, which is at the heart of the house. This was the original 'building' on the site, placed there in the 1930s, and the rest of the house has grown up around it. The holiday home has a vintage feel throughout; we have carefully chosen furnishings that complement the carriage and the rest of the property, while still providing guests with all the modern amenities and facilities including TV with DVD player, films, radio/CD, internet and plenty of indoor games.

There is a well equipped kitchen that includes everything you need during your stay, however there is no dishwasher. A freezer and washing machine can also be found in the out house.

Outside of the holiday home there is a back garden is very private, and there’s a barbecue and plenty of garden furniture. There are several bikes in the garage for exploring the local area.

It's a few minutes’ walk along rough footpaths from a quiet, undeveloped beach, close to the internationally famous RSPB Snettisham nature reserve. It lies between Kings Lynn and Hunstanton, and is just a few miles from Sandringham House, the Royal Family's own 'holiday home'. There is fishing available nearby. Fishing and birdwatching available nearby, plus golf.

Dogs are allowed on the beach all year, and are accepted at The Patch by arrangement.
