Bayes Barn is located in one of the most beautiful positions imaginable and enjoys spectacular views of the surrounding Norfolk countryside. Originally an old lambing yard and shed, this self catering holiday home now offers modern and well-appointed accommodation for up to 6 people and can be found in the pretty village of Briningham near Melton Constable.

Our barn has been awarded 4 stars by Visit Scotland and is decorated and furnished to a high standard throughout. Ideal for those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern-day living as it is set completely on its own with just the wildlife and the sheep grazing in the meadow for company.

The main feature of the holiday home is its fantastic view, so when we refurbished and developed the property we wanted guests to enjoy the view as much as possible. The barn still looks much as it always did from the courtyard area, it remains open fronted but has been fully glazed with glass screens so that you can make the most of the view – and enjoy watching the barn owl hunting on the meadow from the comfort of the sofa.

At the barn you will find:

Underfloor heating throughout except in the bedrooms which are heated by radiators.

Three en suite bedrooms (a twin, king size and master super king size room).

Large and well-equipped kitchen with dining area.

Huge sitting room with a large wood burner.

Free Wi-Fi internet access.

Large screen TV.

Porch – giving extra room for coats, boots and muddy dogs.

Bayses Barn is a perfect base for a family of up to six to come and stay during the summer. During July and August – all three bedrooms are available. This makes the barn equally perfect for four adults wanting to get away for a great week in Norfolk. We are surrounded by gastropubs and other great places to eat, all within easy driving distance. Also a beautiful, secluded site for a couple wanting to get away from it all.
