Greenbanks Country Hotel is situated in the heart of the Norfolk countryside just outside of Great Fransham between East Dereham and Swaffham, Greenbanks offers spacious, comfortable, well equipped en suite accommodation in both the hotel and self catering apartments, with access for all.

No two rooms are identical at Greenbanks, just as no two people are the same, so our rooms reflect this. With an array of rooms, twins, doubles, family, ground floor, upstairs, with baths, showers or wet rooms there should be something to suit everyone! Some of the ground floor rooms are also pet friendly, however, please specify this at the time of booking, and be aware an additional charge will apply.

With fishing lakes and an array of wild flowers which encourages wildlife in natural surroundings, there is plenty to explore. If exploring is not for you, relax and enjoy the indoor heated swimming pool, sauna or hot tub.

The restaurant at Greenbanks has a chef and dietician both who understand the importance of food intolerances, and they are more than happy to accommodate any request, prior notice appreciated. Our restaurant menus aim to delight you with fabulous dishes and where possible they are made with the very best locally sourced ingredients. Scarning ‘Asparagus’ when in season, Slow cooked Lamb Fillet, Norfolk Sausage & Mash, Cromer Crab, indulging chocolate tart and delicious desserts’. Our Chef and trained dieticians understand the importance for those who are Coeliac or with food allergies/intolerance and are imaginative with vegetarian and vegan dishes.

Norwich and Kings Lynn are both within a 30 minute driving distance, so a spot of shopping may appeal; likewise the picturesque east coast is the same distance away offering seal trips, piers, coastal walks and ice cream!
