Our hotel dates from 1886 and retains lots of original features whilst offering modern accommodation. We have 28 individually furnished bedrooms to choose from, including superior double, standard double, standard single, superior single and family rooms.

We also have two feature rooms, including a bedroom with a bathroom that has a roll-top bath and a separate walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a patio area and a bathroom with a slipper bath and a separate walk-in shower.

All the rooms come with a range of facilities, TV, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and en suite facilities. Some rooms can cater for additional beds and ground floor rooms are available.

Enjoy some wonderful cuisine at our restaurant which has received lots of awards, including the Les Routiers Gold Plate. The menu offers seasonal, quality produce, including Northumbrian Lamb, Kielder Venison and locally reared pheasant.

The town of Bellingham is only a short riverside walk away. You can fish on one of the best salmon and trout rivers in the UK or visit some of the most beautiful beaches in England.
