Rowan Cottage in Finstown offers superb self catering accommodation. We are perched upon the hillside and boast glorious views over the Bay of Firth and across to the North Isles. Further afield you can visit lots of attractions in Orkney.

Our cottage is tastefully furnished throughout and comes with an open plan lounge/kitchen to suit all your needs. The lounge has seating, a TV and a DVD player.

The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances: an electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A dining area has seating for up to 4 people.

In total, there are 2 bedrooms: 1 double room and 1 single room. The rooms share a shower room.

Outside we have a decking area with seating for al fresco dining over a drink or two. A garden shed is suitable for storing bikes, wetsuits and other outdoor equipment.

We are around 7 miles from Kirkwall and Stromness. Finstown is home to a filling station, a convenience store and 2 takeaways that open at weekends. You can visit The Orkney Museum or take a tour of The Orkney Distillery & Visitor Centre. Attractions to visit include:
