Westcote Glamping offers delightful accommodation near Hawick in a range of pods, huts and gypsy caravans. Our eco-friendly site in the Scottish Borders offers an authentic rural experience in a lovely area of the country.

Our glamping site offers outstanding views of the Minto Hills and is nestled on our working farm. You can see lambs in the spring and all year round pick your own eggs for breakfast.

Islay

We offer accommodation for up to 2 people in this restored gypsy caravan, perfect for a romantic getaway. The caravan comes with a double bed (we recommend no one over 6 ft or with mobility issues books), a range of solar-powered lighting and battery, plus a range of essentials, including crockery, kettle, teapot, tea, coffee, sugar, gas heater and external eco-toilet. Outside there is a fire pit. There is use of the shared outdoor kitchen or a private BBQ.

Jura

Our second restored gypsy caravan is similar to Islay, sleeping up to 2 people in a double bed (we recommend no one over 6 ft or with mobility issues books). Facilities include a range of solar-powered lighting and battery, plus a range of essentials, including crockery, kettle, teapot, tea, coffee, sugar, gas heater and external eco-toilet. Outside there is a fire pit. There is use of the shared outdoor kitchen or a private BBQ.

Beehive Pod

We offer accommodation in this unique pod that sleeps 4 adults in a bunk bed and double sofa bed. There is a range of solar-powered lighting and battery, plus a range of essentials, including crockery, kettle, teapot, tea, coffee, sugar, gas heater and external eco-toilet. Outside there is a fire pit. There is use of the shared outdoor kitchen or a private BBQ.

Shepherd’s Hut

Our delightful shepherd’s hut sleeps up to 4 people in a double bed, a single bed and a sofa area that is suitable for a child or small adult. The hut has a self-enclosed kitchen with a hob, oven, and essential crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, tea, coffee and sugar. Outside there is a BBQ and fire pit. There is use of an eco-toilet and access to our shared showers, picnic benches and outdoor kitchen facilities.

Showman’s Hut

We offer accommodation for up to 4 people in this showman’s hut, ideal for a family getaway. The hut sleeps 4 in 1 double and 2 singles (the pull-out bed is suitable only for a small child/under 8s). The hut comes with a hob, sink, small oven, fridge, electric heater, toilet, shower and bed with feather duvets. Outside there is a BBQ for al fresco dining and a fire pit to huddle around in the evening. Guests have access to shared outdoor kitchen facilities, picnic benches and sheltered table.

The Straw Trailer

This former bail trailer has been renovated to offer a bespoke getaway for 6 people. The accommodation sleeps up to 6 people in 2 double beds and 2 single beds. 8 people can be booked if two children under 5 sleep on the sofa bed. The tastefully decorated trailer comes with a wood burner, toilet, shower, full kitchen, sofa and table. Outside there is a BBQ, fire pit and sheltered table.

Our glamping site is perfect for enjoying the picturesque countryside, great for walks and cycle rides. You can visit the markets towns, Stately homes, historic ruins and much more. Bamburgh, Edinburgh and the Lake District are around an hour and a half drive away, whilst Duns Castle and Hadrian's Wall is just an hour away. Attractions to visit include:
