Poplar Farm Bed & Breakfast, West Stoughton, Wedmore, Somerset

Poplar Farm is a family run business offering bed and breakfast accommodation amidst the Somerset countryside at West Stoughton near Wedmore. It is also a working small-holding of 25 acres where we rear animals for beef and also keep chicken, guinea-pigs, rabbits, ducks, Jack Russell Terriers and Zwartbles sheep.

Our aim has been to provide guests with accommodation that feels like a home away from home. The letting rooms are comfortably furnished and include en suite facilities, a TV and a hot beverage tray with tea and coffee. For those who want a little additional space, we also have a log cabin available which is adjacent to the main farmhouse.

Breakfast is included within the room rate and is freshly prepared each morning which has received much praise from previous guests. Where possible we use locally grown produce and we are happy to cater to special diets, we ask that guests advise of any dietary requirements when booking.

Whether you are staying for just one night, a weekend break, or a longer holiday, you can be assured of a comfortable and enjoyable break. Bristol Airport, which hosts flights by several major and budget airlines, is only a 20-minute car journey away so flying here and back is a distinct possibility. Hire cars are available at the airport. There are also plenty of other places of interest nearby including:
