Pear Tree Cottages are a pair of luxurious and award winning holiday homes, located in a beautiful part of Somerset at Stoughton Cross near Wedmore. Cherry Plum sleeps 2 and Cider Apple sleeps 5, making them ideal retreats for a couple, family or a group.

Both holiday homes have been decorated and furnished to the highest of standards, ensuring guests have a luxurious place to stay that feels like a home away from home. With underfloor heating beneath the natural-stone floors that keep you warm in winter and cool in summer, and a cosy wood burner as well as all the kitchen and entertainment appliances you’d expect in a comfortable modern home.

Cherry Plum Cottage has a king size bed with en suite facilities. Cider Apple has one zip and link super king bed that can be made as two singles and has an attached bathroom. Bedroom two has a king size bed with en suite.

Outside each cottage is a private patio with a pergola with a table and chairs for al fresco dining and sun loungers.

There is ample parking at the cottages, and you can store your holiday goods, be they bikes, golf clubs, fishing rods or whatever, in the large secure storeroom adjoining the cottages. There, you’ll also find a portable barbecue and a sun umbrella for each cottage to help you make the most of your patio.

We are conveniently located for those who like cycling, walking, nature reserves and visiting the many West Country major attractions, including Bath, Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar, Bristol, Somerset Levels and the outstanding Mendip Hills.
