The Doniford Meadow Bungalows are set in their own spacious grounds outside of Watchet in Somerset. Our self catering holiday homes are nestled at the foot of the Quantocks and are within easy walking distance of the Bristol Channel with enchanting rock pools, Jurassic fossils, as well as pretty meadows with rare orchids.

We have 4 semi-detached self catering bungalows that sleep 4 people. Each bungalow has an adjacent parking space and includes a double and a twin bedroom. All bed linen is supplied and the beds will be made up ready for your arrival. There is a lounge/dining room that has a comfortable 3 piece suite, TV and a dining table that can seat 4 people. This leads on to the fully fitted kitchen that includes all the facilities and utensils you may need during your stay.

The holiday homes have a full sized bath with electric shower over, wash basin and W.C and No 12 has a shower cubicle. Heating is by electric storage heaters, electricity is included at no extra charge.

Outside is a garden table and chairs are provided for each bungalow, as well as bench seats in the grounds. Two of our bungalows have fenced gardens giving extra safety for children and dogs.

There are many beautiful villages, towns and cities nearby that are waiting to be explored. Our self catering bungalows are only a short drive from many places if interest in the West Country such as Watchet, Minehead, Dunster, Porlock, etc; Cheddar Caves, Wookey Hole, Bath, Glastonbury and Wells. The bungalows are close to the sea and to Doniford Halt on the West Somerset Steam Railway; the site provides an excellent place for a restful, relaxing and reinvigorating holiday.

The countryside around Doniford Meadow Bungalows is officially an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering superb opportunities for families, walkers, cyclists, bird watchers, artists and photographers. In the winter it is an ideal base for Bridgwater Carnival.
