Our detached holiday cottage and four riverside apartments are situated in the National Trust village of Allerford alongside a shallow river overlooking the famous Pack Horse bridge.

Each accommodation is self-contained, well equipped with fridge, electric cooker, microwave, DVD player, TV and furnished to a high standard. The comfortable beds are made up with good quality bed linen. Towels are not provided but can be hired at £3 per set. Free Wi FI in all our accommodation.

Situated at the foot of Selworthy woods, Allerford is a village with traditional Exmoor cottages, many of which are National Trust owned.

Numerous footpaths and bridleways allow you to explore Exmoors stunning scenery and dramatic coastline.

The shallow river Aller flows gently under the ancient Pack Horse bridge, from where our property derives it’s name, and filters into the sea at Bossington.

Porlock has a range of shops selling local produce and crafts. There are a range of restaurants and pubs, also a museum all centred around the 12th century church of St Dubricius. The Tourist Centre is a must for information on local events.
