The Barn has retained all of its original features and character. It makes a very spacious and comfortable place to stay. All our guests say it exceeds their expectations!

The ground floor has a comfortable sitting room with a log stove, a a dining room, a bespoke kitchen and a cosy double bedroom with en suite wet room. You also have sole access to the upstairs barn, with its pool table, piano and library area.

Round the Barn are the sheltered stone yards where the pigs once rootled about, and the croft which faces the sunset and Wetton Hill.

Hope Farm House is located in the hamlet of Hope within the Peak District National Park. It is immediately south west of the picturesque village of Alstonefield, one mile from Dovedale, just seven miles from Ashbourne, and about 140 miles north of London. The house nestles in the hills between the Rivers Dove and Manifold on the border of Derbyshire and Staffordshire. Its excellent position means that it is well suited for exploring all the Peak District, as well as Alton Towers and the Potteries.
