Bucks Farm Holiday Cottages offers fantastic self catering accommodation in Cookley near Halesworth. Our cottages are based on a farm in the Suffolk countryside and lots of excellent facilities are onsite.

The Hayloft

We offer accommodation for up to 4 people in this barn conversion, based in a secluded spot. The property has an enclosed garden and a private hot tub. There is an open plan area with French doors to the garden. The kitchen and dining area is well-equipped and the lounge has a smart TV. There is a downstairs cloakroom and a den for smaller guests with two futon chairs. Upstairs there is a master king and a twin room, plus a modern bathroom.

Blyth's View:

Our detached holiday cottage can accommodate up to seven people. On the ground floor is a living room, a dining room/kitchen, a walk-in shower and a double bedroom. Upstairs there's a double bedroom with king size bed, bath with shower over and WC, and a triple bedroom. The kitchen also provides space for eating and chatting around a traditional kitchen table.

Harvest Keep:

Harvest Keep sleeps five people. It features a kitchen and attractive open plan lounge / dining room on the ground floor, with a gallery landing over. There is also a bathroom with a shower over the bath. On the first floor are double, twin and single bedrooms. The double bedroom has a toilet and wash hand basin.

Swallow's Rest:

Our cottage sleeps up to s people and is all on the ground floor with its own private garden. This cottage features a kitchen with microwave and dishwasher and all other facilities. There is a lounge/dining room with flat screen TV. There is also a bathroom, twin bedroom and double bedroom with en suite shower and WC. This holiday cottage also has a hot tub available.

Hogs Corner:

Hogs Corner sleeps 4 in a double bedroom and a small bunk-bedded room (space for cot in either). The kitchen, dining area and bathroom with walk-in shower complete the facilities with French windows opening onto the courtyard. Lovely for breakfast outside. It adjoins Harvests Keep and can be combined with it to sleep nine. Hogs Corner also has wide doors suitable for a wheelchair user accompanied by an able-bodied person.

We have a heated indoor swimming pool, with air conditioning and a gym for adults. To create the ideal atmosphere for a relaxing swim, patio doors lead to a sheltered sun terrace.

Other facilities include table tennis, a small snooker table, children's toys, books and activities in the games room and sauna. High chairs, cots, bed guards and stair gates are available at no extra cost. You can also come and feed our animals around 9am most days.

There are lots of places of interest within easy driving distance for us, including the resorts of Southwold and Aldeburgh. The famous Snape Maltings concert hall, the steam museum and gardens of Bressingham and the medieval castles of Framlingham and Orford. Other day trips from Bucks Farm include Africa Alive, Bewilderwood, The Oasis Camel Centre, and Norfolk Snowsports Club.
