Laxfield Lodges offers luxurious self catering accommodation in Laxfield. Nestled in the open countryside of Mid-Suffolk, we are the ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.

The traditional round-log lodges were constructed from solid 200mm round logs from slow-grown Northern European pine and are well-insulated. We have two lodges to choose from, Sunrise Lodge and Sunset Lodge. Each lodge is identical and boasts stunning countryside views. There is a hot tub with each lodge and there are acres of grassed communal areas to enjoy and private decking areas, perfect for al fresco dining in the afternoon sun.

The Lodges are of a bespoke design, fitted to the highest standard. With full central heating and private south-facing decking areas overlooking the open countryside, they provide all year-round luxury accommodation. Fitted kitchens include granite worktops, range cooker, integrated fridge and dishwasher and also a butler sink. A separate utility room provides a washer/dryer, freezer and microwave.

The lounge and dining areas are furnished with the latest contemporary designs including flat-screen LCD HD TVs with Freeview and Netflix and digital radio. The double and twin bedrooms are stylish and comfortable with integrated wardrobes. The main bedroom boasts a wall-mounted LCD HD TV with Freeview and its own en suite with a walk-in shower. The main bathroom completes the attractive accommodation.

Laxfield Lodges are located at Burnt House on the edge of Laxfield village. Situated in the picturesque countryside the lodges are ideally placed to explore the many attractions Suffolk has to offer. Laxfield itself, steeped in history with its own Guildhall and museum dating back to the 16th Century. There are two public houses, a village shop with a Post Office and a beautiful Church, just a 10 minute walk away. Those wishing to enjoy their walking may do so by starting the Circular Village Footpath Walk from Burnt House. There are also numerous cycle routes to take in the surrounding countryside.

The village of Stradbroke is just a 6-minute drive with its own bakery, butcher, shop, public houses and a doctor's surgery. The village also has a splendid indoor swimming pool. The market town of Framlingham is a mere 10-minute drive with its fabulous castle dating back to the 12th Century (a must-see for all visitors). This old-established town has numerous shops, pubs and restaurants.
