The Piggery - converted from a former piggery, this beautiful, newly built stone holiday cottage gives spacious 5-star accommodation for 6 people. Set in its own peaceful, private surroundings, the Piggery offers every luxury including underfloor heating throughout.

Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with over a mile of the River Derwent as its northern border, Low Friarside Farm is an ideal location for walking, cycling, jogging, bird watching, horse riding and fishing or simply just relaxing in the comforts of modern living in this recently converted 16th Century Barn.

River Derwent - if fishing is your passion take advantage of the fishing rights for over a mile of the River Derwent which hosts brown trout, rainbow trout and grayling.

Derwent Walk - this former mineral rail line, which crosses Low Friarside Farm, now provides a 20-mile track for walkers, cyclists and horse riders, passing through woodland, meadows, wetlands and riverside.
