The site is situated halfway between Buxton and Ashbourne at the junction of the A515 and A5012 opposite the Newhaven Hotel and Newhaven Garage.
The Peak District provides an ideal centre for touring the National Park. It lies in a secluded dip in the hills prolifically planted with trees and shrubs to provide a sheltered park for tents, touring caravans and motor vans. The whole site is meticulously maintained to a very high standard from the spotless ablution blocks to the neatly trimmed grass.
The site shop stocks a complete range of goods including groceries, books and magazines, toys, souvenirs and fresh local dairy produce. Broomhill Farm Camping & Caravanning is located on a working farm in the Derbyshire village of Brackenfield near Alfreton. Our camping and caravanning site is 2 acres of gently sloping land and is a family friendly campsite.
There are 10 tent pitches and 5 caravan pitches and on site facilities include:

Hardhurst Farm Campsite offers holiday accommodation situated in Hope, Hope Valley in Derbyshire.
The campsite accommodation is in a handy location for exploring the picturesque Peak District and the nearby village of Castleton. The campsite has a main field for caravans as well as an additional field for tents. There are hard standings available in the caravan field and electric hook ups are available in both fields.
Onsite facilities include toilets on the main field which are clean, but basic, and a recently built shower block which contains a disabled toilet and shower facilities. In addition to this, there is a laundry room equipped with a washing machine and a tumble dryer and a family-run café which serves delicious cooked breakfasts from Friday-Monday. Our Camping Barn stands at the foot of Narrowdale hill just outside the village of Alstonefield and is part of our 200 acre sheep and beef farm. It is reached by an old bridle path which has been upgraded to allow access to the barn where car parking spaces are provided. With lovely views and dale walks in all directions our barn sleeps a maximum of 12 people and is a most excellent base for walkers, cyclists, scouts, Duke of Edinburgh and school groups etc; as well as small numbers of individuals. The barn is inspected yearly by VisitBritain and meets their camping barn standard.
The picturesque village of Alstonefield is within easy walking distance (about one and a half miles). The nearest shop is at Hulme End (2 miles) where milk, newspapers and provisions are available. There are many local country inns serving a wide selection of meals.

Packhorse Farm Campsite offers camping and caravanning facilities located in the village of Tansley near the town of Matlock in Derbyshire. The secluded campsite offers panoramic views towards Riber Castle.

Middlehills Farm Campsite is a family friendly site situated at Grangemill and only a short drive from the Derbyshire market town of Matlock. It is well placed for you to visit many nearby attractions and we have provided lots of leaflets in reception so you have an idea of places to visit during your stay.
We have full on site facilities including toilets and shower blocks, which are charged at £1 for 5 minutes or 20p for 1 minute , pot washing areas, drinking water and an extensive play area for children which is a big hit, which you can camp right next too if you are non electric. Please note that children are your responsibility at all times. We also have a chemical waste point.
