Packhorse Farm Campsite offers camping and caravanning facilities located in the village of Tansley near the town of Matlock in Derbyshire. The secluded campsite offers panoramic views towards Riber Castle.
The campsite allows tents, campervans and trailers. There are currently forty two pitches that offer electric hook up. The campsite offers the following facilities:

Fieldhead Campsite is situated in Edale, a picturesque village at the start of the Pennine Way. The village has two public houses, two cafes and a post office / general store all within 500m of the site.
Tent pitches are spread over six fields with a separate family field and a small riverside field which is dedicated to backpackers only. There is a separate car park next to the camping fields which have no vehicle access ensuring a quieter, peaceful stay.

The site is situated at the Peak District Park Authority's Moorland / Information Centre so ideal for all outdoor enthusiasts. At Barn Farm Camping we offer a tranquil and peaceful location for camping just three miles outside of Matlock and seven miles fromm Bakewell in Derbyshire.
We have various toilet and shower facilities, all of our shower blocks have individual shower cubicles. We also have a disabled persons shower room and toilet with baby changing facilities. The main shower block is open 24 hours a day. Drinking water is available from all of the taps and we have a couple of pot washing areas. Waste bins are provided around the campsite along with a recycling area. Should you need to do any washing whilst camping with us we have a washer and dryer available.
