Our fields are very spacious and almost completely flat, something everyone has commented on. The fields are also inter-linked by proper tracks so vehicle access is easy. The Exe Valley Caravan Site, for adults only, occupies an enchanting, peaceful setting in a wooded valley within the Exmoor National Park.
Set alongside the sparkling River Exe, the campsite has beautiful views, an abundance of wildlife and many footpaths leading to the moors, woodlands and rivers. It is a wonderful location for camping and country loving folk.
We live on site in Bridgetown Mill, which dates back to the 17th Century. Once a grain and flour producing mill, it was last used for milling during the Second World War. The building is in good repair and much of the mill machinery is in working order. The mill is listed as being the largest on Exmoor, and is usually open for campers to go inside on Sunday mornings.
