The Woodlands Tavern is situated in the heart of the friendly chocolate box village of Llanvair Discoed, near Chepstow in Monmouthshire, South Wales. Beaufort Arms is a 17th Century inn that is situated in the village of Gilwern which is just a short walk from the market town of Abergavenny in Monmouthshire. The inn is the ideal stopover for those visiting on business or leisure and we provide accommodation, great food and a range of drinks.
The bar is very traditional and we serve the finest cask ales and whiskies. The bar also has BT sport for visitors to watch.

The menus change regularly and offer locally-sourced, seasonal food, much from our kitchen garden when in season. Our specials board changes regularly to give an even greater choice. We also offer a delicious children menu.
Special dietary requirements can normally always be met (please let us know of these in advance). We regret that under 8s are not allowed in the restaurant in the evenings but we will happily organise supper for them from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.
