The Hope & Anchor is a former 17th century coaching inn situated in Wokingham, Berkshire and like many of the inns and pubs in the area; it was constructed from former ship’s timber and you can even see some of the sailors initials carved into some of the timbers in the pub!
There are three lovely double en suite guest rooms; all furnished in a contemporary style, with flat screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The Hope and Anchor offers good home cooked food on weekday lunchtimes and evenings, as well as Sunday lunches.
There is always a lot going on at the Hope & Anchor, we are open all day every day from 12 noon and until the end of August we will be barbequing in the sunny garden every Sunday and from October, there will be Sunday lunches available in the cosy dining room.
