Situated in Highland Perthshire amid dramatic scenery, Kinnaird is an estate of outstanding beauty, containing all of the elements you would hope to find in such a place – from shooting, salmon fishing (the Kinnaird beat is among the most highly regarded on the River Tay), loch fishing on two stunning hill lochs, walking and birdwatching, to simply relaxing in glorious countryside.

We are located just over one hour north of Edinburgh and thirty minutes north of Perth.

Self Catering Cottages & Farmhouses

The estate offers a range of attractive self-catering cottages and farmhouses, sleeping from 2 to 8 people, each with its own unique character, situated at various idyllic locations on the 6,500 acre estate.

Fishing

The renowned Kinnaird beat comprises two and a half miles of outstanding salmon fishing on the beautiful River Tay. We can arrange private lessons for beginners in the company of our experienced fishing ghillies as well as accommodate the more experienced angler.

Loch fishing for trout on our two spectacular hill lochs – Millpond and Loch Skiach – can also be arranged.

Shooting

There is a well-regarded shoot on the estate and clay pigeon shooting is also available.

Hilltop Residence

Hilltop is a purpose built residence for those requiring longer stay accommodation – perfect for seasonal staff in the Pitlochry and Dunkeld area.
